Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities to grant 'A' category scale of pay to the petitioner from the date of her joining.

The petitioner contends that the petitioner joined as an Assistant Teacher in Thalia Hara Chand Primary School under the Howrah District Primary School Council on 20th July, 2021 along with B.Ed.

qualification. The petitioner has not completed sixmonth Bridge Course. On 16th April, 2025 the petitioner made a representation before the concerned authority for grant of 'A' category scale of pay.

However, the same is pending consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

1. Mr. Ranjit Mondal learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits the matter be relegated to the appropriate authority for due consideration. In support of his contention, he relies on the following decisions:

(i) Waliur Rahaman & Ors. versus The State of West Bengal & Ors. (In Re: MAT 1038 of 2024);

(ii) Khokan Das versus The State of West Bengal & Ors. (In Re: WPA 13023 of 2025);

Mr. Joydeep Banerjee, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the State concedes such submission. 3.

In view of the above, the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal, respondent no.2, is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16th June, 2025 and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order, in accordance with law, upon notice to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.

The reasoned order is to be communicated to the petitioner within one week from the date of passing of such order.

Learned advocate for the petitioners is directed to communicate this order to respondent no.2, Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal, for necessary compliance.

With the above direction, the writ petition being WPA 18673 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted. 8.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

9.

All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

10. There shall be no order as to costs.

11. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

12. Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of all necessary legal formalities.
