The petitioners seek mutual transfer. It appears that the petitioner no. 2 availed transfer just two years back. Again he has applied for mutual transfer. The same is a bar in the rules for transfer.

In view of the above, the prayer of the petitioners seeking mutual transfer cannot be allowed.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

It is made clear that dismissal of the writ petition will not stand in the way of the petitioner no.1 to apply for transfer in accordance with law, if so advised. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
