Report filed on behalf of the State is also taken on record.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the aged father of the respondent nos. 5 and 6 and the father in law of the respondent nos. 7 and 8. Although the petitioner is the owner of the property in question, the private respondents tortured him and threw him out of the said property. After filing of this application, the respondent police authorities have rendered assistance so that the petitioner and his wife so that they could re-enter their home. However, after their coming back, the private respondents have again started

their torture.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on a report which is taken on record and submits as follows. Even before the writ petition could be taken up for hearing, the police took steps and rendered police help so that the petitioner and his wife could go back to their own house. However, there is a family dispute in which the police can hardly interfere. It is also difficult to give personal protection to all and sundry, especially in matters of family feud. It appears that police have already taken steps so that the petitioner and his wife could go back to their own house. If the petitioner or his wife complaints to the police of any torture by the private respondents, they shall take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

The police shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
