Petitioner appearing in person submits that the petitioner filed a complaint before the police authorities on 6th May, 2023 but the police authorities, particularly the Officer-in-Charge, Bhagwanpur Police Station, Purba Medinipur has not taken any steps till date.

No one appears for the State.

As the Officer-in-Charge, Bhagwanpur Police Station being the respondent No.1 in this writ application has not taken any steps in regard to the complaint made on 6th May, 2023 by the petitioner, the respondent No.1 is directed to take necessary steps to redress the grievance of the petitioner and to consider the safety and security of the petitioner.

Petitioner is also directed to serve a copy of this order dated 24th September, 2024 to the Officer-inCharge, Bhagwanpur Police Station. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition being WPA 19327 of 2024 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
