For the State Bank of India The writ petitioner submits that his contract and/or agreement for acting as Business Correspondent for the State Bank of India to operate in remote parts of Sundarbans has been wrongly terminated. It is submitted that the representation of the petitioner was addressed to the respondent no.2 and has been dealt with by the respondent no.3.

Counsel for the Bank Mr. Saha submits that the writ petitioner is guilty of suppression of material facts. An order dated 19th July, 2016 passed by a Coordinate Bench in WP 12581 (W) of 2016 (South Sundarban Janakalyan Sangha v. The General Manager, State Bank of India & Ors.) is placed. It appears from the

said order that the issue as regards the termination of the petitioner's agreement for Business Correspondence was raised in the year 2016 and rejected. Liberty was reserved to the petitioner to approach a civil forum.

This Court sees that the grievance of the petitioner as regards the disposal of his representation by the respondent no.3, may be misplaced since the respondent nos.2, 3 and 4 are all persons entrusted with the responsibility of discharging the duties and functions of the State Bank of India.

In that view of the matter, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ proceeding. WPA 19665 of 2021 stands disposed of without any order as to costs.

The order dated 19th July, 2016 is kept with the record.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
