1. Perused the undated report filed by the SubDivisional Officer, Sadar, Hooghly which mentions that the matter is to be decided by the SubDivisional Officer, Chandernagore, (Maintenance Tribunal) Hooghly as the petitioner resides within the Chandernagore sub-division.

2. According to the authority, the petitioner has submitted the representation before the SDO, Sadar, Hooghly.

3. The SDO has also mentioned that the application claiming maintenance has not been filed in the proper form.

4. The petitioner is directed to file proper application according to Rule of the West Bengal Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2008 before the appropriate authority.

5. In the event the application is filed, the same shall be considered by the competent officer in accordance with law at the earliest.

6. The writ petition is disposed of.

7. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
