Petitioner being mother lodged complaint against the son. Earlier, report was furnished before this Court which reflects that Bansdroni P.S. Case No. 479 dated 13.06.2024 was registered for investigation. Steps were taken and subsequently charge-sheet was submitted before the jurisdictional court.

Having considered that the police authorities have already taken steps, I am of the view that if the petitioner subsequently again approaches the Officer-in-Charge, Bansdroni Police Station pursuant to torture being inflicted by the private respondent, the police authorities with a human face would consider the representation and ensure that the senior citizen is not subjected to any further physical torture.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 19278 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
