Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities for his intra district transfer to a school nearby his residence in Sonarpur Circle under District Primary School Council, South 24-Parganas upon consideration of his representation dated 15th July, 2025.

The petitioner contends that he is an Assistant Primary Teacher in Manirtat Madhya Garh Free Primary School, P.O.

Manirtat, Police StationJoynagar under Joynagar Circle, District- South 24Parganas. The petitioner joined in the said school on 25th August, 2021. The petitioner has completed the mandatory probation period and has been confirmed on 29th January, 2025 with effect from 25th August, 2023. The petitioner has to travel more than 150

kms. (one side) to attend school from his residence. The wife of the petitioner is suffering from gynaecological disorder. On 15th July, 2025, the petitioner made an application seeking for his transfer before the Chairman, District Primary School Council, South 24-Parganas seeking transfer.

However, the same is still pending consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

Mr. Sudip Ghosh Chowdhury, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that specific direction be issued upon the Chairman, District Primary School Council, South 24-Parganas for consideration of representation of the petitioner dated 15th July, 2025 for his transfer.

Mr. Gourav Das, learned Advocates for the District Primary School Council, South 24-Parganas submits that the matter be relegated to the appropriate authorities for taking a decision on the representation of the petitioner.

In view of such submissions advanced on behalf of the respective parties, respondent No.4, Chairman, District Primary School Council, South 24-Parganas is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15th July, 2025 and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order, in accordance with law, upon notice to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week from the date of passing of such order.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to respondent No.4, Chairman, District Primary School Council, South 24Parganas, for necessary compliance. 9.

With the above direction, the writ petition being WPA 18924 of 2025 stands disposed of.

10. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted.

11. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

12. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

13. There shall be no order as to costs.

14. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

15. Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of all necessary legal formalities.
