Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the issue of interest to be granted to the petitioner on account of delayed payment is yet to be decided by the Authority.

Learned advocate for BSNL submits, upon instruction that, a hearing was conducted and the petitioner was orally intimated that interest cannot be paid.

3.

The instant writ petition is disposed of by directing BSNL to communicate the formal decision to the petitioner in respect of his prayer for grant of interest on account of delayed payment.

4.

Such communication shall be made at the earliest but positively within a fortnight from the date of communication of this order.

5.

It has been admitted by the parties that the principal amount which was due and payable has

been paid to the petitioner.

6.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

7.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
