The writ petitioners pray for a direction on the Executive Engineer of Tamluk Highway Division, Public Works (Roads) Department to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioners on 8th August, 2022.

The petitioners have complained to the authorities against the alleged encroachment caused by the private respondents being the respondent nos.12 to 21. No one appears for the State or the private respondents.

W.P.A.18920 of 2022 is disposed of with a direction on the respondent no.5 being the Executive Engineer of Tamluk Highway Division, Public Works (Roads) Department, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur to consider and dispose of the representation by passing a reasoned order within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. The reasoned order shall be passed after hearing the petitioners and a copy of the said order shall be made available to the petitioners within a week from the date of such order is passed.
