The date of engagement or period or identity card or letter of appointment are not available. The petitioner submits that he was engaged until he was implicated in criminal proceeding in G.R. Case No. 2461 of 2014.

This court is not satisfied as regards the claim of the petitioner that he was at all engaged as a civic volunteer. Even assuming for the sake of argument that the petitioner was engaged in the year 2014, the said post being temporary and contractual in nature cannot be reclaimed after seven years. The petitioner has no enforceable cause of action against the State. Hence, the writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
