The father of the petitioner was an Assistant Teacher of Debagram Mahadeb High School, District - Paschim Medinipur who died-in-harness on October 29, 2021. The District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Paschim Medinipur, the respondent no. 3 herein vide impugned Memo No. 644 - S dated March 13, 2023 has turned down the prayer of the petitioner for compassionate appointment on the ground that at the material point of time, the family income of the petitioner was more than the gross salary income of a Group - D staff of the State Government. This Court does not find any illegality and/or infirmity in the said order of the rejection warranting interference; therefore W.P.A. 18568 of 2023 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
