Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police station as well as the earlier direction in WPA 12081 of 2023, the private respondent no.2 has been dismantling the trees and also threatening for setting the house of the petitioner on fire, petitioner feels insecured and, as such, has informed Gangnapur Police Station. However, no steps were taken by the police authorities.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that a long standing land dispute is existing between the petitioner and the private respondent no.2. The genesis of all the issues of violation of law and order refer to the land dispute for which the police authorities had to draw up proceedings under Section 126 of the BNSS.

Having considered that the police authorities are well aware regarding the dispute between the petitioner and private respondent no.2, I direct the police authorities to keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and/or any untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioner and the respondent no.2.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18982 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
