And In the matter of : Prashanta Paul @ Prosanta Pal .... petitioner Mr. Kalidas Saha, Ms. Mandira Mandal ....for the petitioner Mr. Sekhar Barman ... for the State 1.

Claiming parity with Biplab Sarkar @ Biplob Sarkar, the coaccused who was enlarged on anticipatory bail on 9th July, 2024 in CRM (A) 2265 of 2024 is not being disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the State.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioner namely, Prashanta Paul @ Prosanta Pal, shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of arresting officer and subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, corresponding to Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023 and on further condition that he shall appear before the trial court within two weeks from date and thereafter shall appear on every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with Signed By :

evidence in any manner whatsoever or commit similar offences in future.

In the event petitioner fails to comply with any of the conditions, the trial court shall be at liberty to cancel his bail in accordance with law without further reference to this Court.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is allowed.

CRM (A) 2704 of 2024 is, thus, disposed of.
