Petitioner is in custody for 217 days. He prays for bail. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure shows she was trafficked to a different State for sexual exploitation. Petitioner had absconded for a considerable period of time.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
