The petitioner was an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology, a College under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal.

The petitioner inter alia has challenged a show cause notice dated June 11, 2024 issued by the H.R. Department of the said College.

The petitioner has replied to the said show cause notice. In the meantime, the petitioner has been served with a further notice of termination of her employment in terms of 'Paragraph 7' of the letter of appointment dated August 19, 2017.

Challenging to the show cause notice is pre-matured, however, in view of issuance of a further notice of termination of service, the challenge has become infructuous.

The petitioner, however, is at liberty to challenge the said notice of termination in accordance with law.

WPA 19312 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
