Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Petitioner complained to the local police station as well as the Superintendent of Police, Nadia. Petitioner's main agony is that he may be implicated in allegedly false cases.
State has submitted a report which reflects that Nakashipara P.S. Case No. 424 of 2025 dated 28.04.2025 has been registered for investigation under Sections 318(2)/318(4) of BNS.
After conclusion of investigation of the said case, chargesheet has been submitted. Petitioner is accused in the said case. Report also reflects that another case being Nakashipara P.S. Case No. 870 of 2025 dated 13.08.2025 has been registered for investigation under Sections 318(2)/318(4) of BNS against the present petitioner. Both the cases are of the same nature relating to offences of cheating.
Having considered that the police authorities have arrived at their conclusion and the petitioner's prayer is that he may not be implicated in other cases, I am of the view that a blanket order cannot be passed by invoking any of the writs.
Having regard to the observations made above, I am of the opinion that no interference is called for. Petitioner would address his grievance before the jurisdictional court in seisin of the criminal cases.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 18661 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
