......for the private respondents Pursuant to the order dated 1st August, 2024 report in the form of affidavit has been filed by the Sub-Inspector of Schools (SE), Howrah which was affirmed on 28th August, 2024 and the same is taken on record.

On perusal of the said report, it appears that the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Howrah prepared a report based on preliminary investigation relating to allegations of Teacherin-Charge of Satashi High School, Howrah and the same was forwarded to the Disciplinary Authority of the West Bengal Board of Secondary

Education vide memo dated 23rd August, 2024.

Said memo dated 23rd August, 2024 is at pages 74 to 78 of the report filed today on behalf of the State respondents.

In view of forwarding the report by the concerned District Inspector of Schools, the concerned authority of the Board shall be at leave to take steps in accordance with law based on preliminary investigation report as furnished by the State respondents.

During course of hearing, copies of the said report have been made over to the learned advocates representing the petitioner, private respondents and the Board.

The private respondents and petitioner shall also be at liberty to take steps in accordance with law if the contents of preliminary investigation report as prepared by the concerned District Inspector of Schools are adverse to their interests.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
