Heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.

Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. He submits he was illegally detained and falsely implicated.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected on 13th May, 2022.

We have considered the materials on record. The same issue was considered during prayer for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner and the prayer was rejected.

In this backdrop, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail on the self-same ground. That apart, there are ample materials connecting the petitioner with the recovery of narcotic substance above commercial quantity.

Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

We request the trial court to conclude the trial at an early date preferably within one year from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
