Petitioner approached this Court being aggrieved that Chatterjeehat P.S. Case No. 58 of dated 10.03.2025 was registered for investigation, but the sections were understated in the FIR.

to submits that the respondents have information that charge-sheet has been submitted. As such, the writ petition is not maintainable.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Chatterjeehat P.S. Charge-Sheet No. 52 of 2025 dated 31.03.2025 has been registered for investigation.

Having considered that already charge-sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court, petitioner would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional court under the relevant provisions of BNSS for ventilating his grievance in case he has materials in his possession to show before the learned court relating to the sections being understated by the police authorities while submitting the charge-sheet. If there are other issues involved regarding further investigation, the petitioner would address the same before the jurisdictional Magistrate in seisin of the issue. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 18659 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
