The present case was initiated in the year 2020 and subsequently chargesheet was submitted in the same year under Sections 341/323/354/506 of the Indian Penal Code. So far as the allegations in the chargesheet are concerned, there are allegations against the present petitioner. A supplementary affidavit has been submitted before this court which reflects that the petitioner happens to be an aspirant in the Central Armed Police Force. Having regard to the same and the fact that the next date is fixed in the month of March, 2024, I direct that the learned trial court to prepone the date so fixed from the month of March, 2024 to the month of October, 2023. The learned trial court would thereafter fix dates in the month of November, 2023 for framing of charges. The charges should be framed by 24th November, 2023. Chargesheet reflects that there are six witnesses out of which four are civilians associated with the complainant and two of the

witnesses belong to the police department. The learned trial court would on and from 1st December, 2023 regularly fix dates for the present case arising out of Jagaddal P. S. Case No. 475 of 2020 dated 31.07.2020 and try to pronounce the verdict of the case by 31st December, 2023.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Jagaddal PS would act as Nodal Officer of the case and ensure production of the witnesses on the dates so fixed.

Needless to state that this court has not entered into the merits of the case regarding the complicity of the present petitioner but only on a compassionate reason that the petitioner for the purposes of the case should not suffer in his career has only fixed dates which is restricted to the facts of the present case. . With the aforesaid observations, the present criminal revisional application being CRR 2905 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
