Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. A representation was made on 14.07.2023 for a new water connection at the premises at NP- 62, Paschim Para, Nayapatti, Post Office- Krishnapur, Police Station- Electronics Complex, Kolkata- 700 102. The same has not been considered by the Municipal Authorities. A direction may be passed so that the same is considered.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Municipal Corporation submits as follows. There is an existing connection at the said premises. However, there has been a dispute between the co-shares of the property. That is why the application has been made.

I have heard the submissions of the learned counsels for the parties and have perused the writ petition. It appears that the petitioner has made an application for a new water connection at the premises in question. The same is pending consideration.

Let the respondent no.3 consider the representation of the petitioner within three weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving hearing to the petitioner and thereafter decide the issue in accordance with law. The decision shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week from such date.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
