There is delay in lodging FIR. He prays for bail.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim shows that he was forcibly made to lie on the railway track in an attempt to murder him. His left knee has been amputed. In view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
