Mr. Niladri Sekhar Ghosh, Mr. Sourav Mondal, Ms. Sompurna Chatterjee ....for the respondent nos. 5-9 The writ petitioner is aggrieved by charge sheet being Arambagh Police Station Charge Sheet No. 06/21 dated 13.01.2021 under Sections 498A/304B/34 of the IPC filed by the Arambagh Police Station.

It is submitted that statement of the petitioner under Section 161 and 164 of the Cr. P.C. has not been recorded. It appears that charges have been framed and trial has commenced.

This Court is of the view that the petitioner's grievances have been substantially addressed by the Sessions Court since the charges, inter alia, Section 302 of the IPC have already been framed.

Counsel for the private respondents submits that the petitioner has not appeared before the Magistrate on the date fixed for trial even after receiving summons. Warrant of arrest has been issued against the petitioner. The report of the Arambagh Police Station dated 09.02.2023 is kept with the record.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
