Allowed that from the joint possession of the petitioners 20kgs. 80 grams of ganja were recovered and the petitioners are in custody for 320 days Learned advocate for the State submits that commercial quantity of contraband has been recovered from the joint possession of the petitioners.

I have taken into account the quantum of seizure and the period of detention and I am inclined to release the petitioners on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner no.1, namely, Ananda Let and the petitioner no.2, namely, Purnima Let @ Gita Let shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned

Additional District and Sessions Judge, 3rd Court, NDPS Act-cumlearned Special Court, under NDPS Act, Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman.

If on bail, the petitioners shall be physically present on each and every date fixed by the learned trial court. Petitioners shall not leave the jurisdiction of the district of Paschim Bardhaman without the permission of the learned special court. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1013 of 2025 is allowed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
