The petitioner seeks a direction for conducting an independent inquiry in respect of the allegation made on the day of the poll i.e. on 8th July, 2023. The complaint appears to have been lodged on 19th July, 2023.

I am afraid that a complaint which was lodged at such a delayed point of time cannot be directed to be investigated at such a distant date.

In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant case.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
