It appears from the conduct of the respondents that they are no longer interested in contesting the writ petition. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner applied for grant of permit under Section 80(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The said application was neither accepted nor considered by the authority. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the authority to accept the said application and consider the same upon depositing prescribed fees.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to accept the application submitted by the petitioner dated 19th August, 2019 and consider and dispose of the same subject to the petitioner depositing the prescribed fees therefor within one month from the date of communication of this order after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of this order to the 4th respondent at the earliest.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA 17602 of 2019 is disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
