Nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition. The writ petition was filed with the allegations that the brother of the petitioner had not looked after their mother and eventually the mother, who was a patient of dementia, died without care. It appears that the police authorities had called the parties for an amicable settlement of their differences and the report filed by the Inspector-inCharge, Asansol (South) Police Station dated July 27, 2022, indicates that the parties have eventually settled their differences.

Under such circumstances, nothing survives to be decided in this writ petition.

This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. The right, title and claim of the parties in respect of any property, have not been decided by this Court. There will be, however, no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
