Dealer. His dealership was Court No. 24 06.01.2022 (Item No. 247) (AB) discontinued in the year 1996.

From the documents annexed to the writ petition it appears that being aggrieved by the said discontinuation the petitioner made representation before the respondent authority in the year 2015, 2020 and thereafter demanded justice by filing representation through his learned advocate in the year 2021.

It appears that the petitioner has approached this Court nearly 25 years after discontinuation of the dealership.

The writ petition is hopelessly time barred. The law relating to distribution of ration articles has undergone a sea change in the meantime. At this stage there is no scope for passing any order upon the respondent authorities for consideration of his prayer to continue with the distribution which was discontinued in the year 1996.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
