In Re: CRAN 1 of 2025 Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for waiver of the condition imposed while granting bail. The said order was passed on 17.09.2024 wherein it was directed that the petitioner would not leave the jurisdiction of the police station and shall report to the Officer-in-Charge of the concerned police station once in fortnight until further orders.

Having considered that the petitioner was in custody for 5 years 9 months when he was granted bail and another 15 months have passed since such order was passed, I am of the view that the condition so imposed while granting bail to the petitioner should be waived.

Accordingly, CRAN 1 of 2025 is allowed.
