This is a writ petition of the year 2007.

Petitioners have challenged the Memo dated 24.1.2007/9.2.2007 issued by the Director of School Education holding that since the schools have been non-functioning with effect from October 1, 2003, there is no question of approval of appointment of the teachers as prayed for by the school authority. It appears that due to passage of time the petitioners are no longer interested to proceed with this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed for default.
