Petitioner is an accused in a rape case. He threatened the victim and her family members. Allegation of physical assault is supported by medical evidence.

Having considered the materials on record and prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime and in view of subsequent conduct of the petitioner in threatening the victim and his family members resulting in registration of Chanchal Police Station Case No. 21 of 2020 dated 04.01.2020 under Sections 341/323/325/354/307/ 376/ 511/34 of the Indian Penal Code, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to him.
