Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted bail on 07.02.2019. It has been pointed out that thereafter the petitioner with passage of time stopped coming to court and was only represented by a counsel and thereafter, the counsel also stopped representing.

In view of the undertaking given by Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner henceforth would be physically appearing before the court regularly on the date so fixed, the learned trial court is directed that in case the petitioner appears/surrenders by 15.09.2023, he may be allowed to continue on the same bail and bond with a condition to meet the Officer-in-Charge, Posta Police Station once a week for a period of three months. The execution of the warrant so issued by the learned Special Court be stayed till 18.09.2023.

In case, the petitioner does not appear by 15.09.2023, the learned Special Court on 18.09.2023 would be at liberty

to proceed to the next harsher process of law by invoking the powers under Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2917 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
