Petitioners are aggrieved as their representation dated 12.12.2022 was not addressed, by the Inspector-in-Charge, Falta Police Station. The dispute which has been canvassed in the communication made to the police authorities relates to the fact that there has been interference and disturbance at the behest of the private respondents, thereby creating obstruction in the peaceful enjoyment of the property.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms.

Amrita Panja Moulick, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to represent the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

I have considered the contents of the representation and I find that such representation was advanced to the police authorities on December, 2022. Having considered that more than 29 months have passed since the representation was furnished to the police authorities, liberty is granted to the petitioners to file a fresh representation if the petitioners are faced with similar inconveniences presently. The police authorities would act in accordance with law on receipt of such representation.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18766 of 2023 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
