The writ petitioner complains that the private respondents are trying to grab a property, which belongs to the petitioner.

This Court is of the view that the dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents is purely civil in nature. Appropriate civil proceedings may be taken up. The Police have no role to play in the private dispute. Sagardighi Police shall, however, ensure that there is no breach peace in the area.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
