Learned counsel for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner was appointed as a Craft Instructor in 'Shruti' school for the deaf in 2007 and served till June, 2024 when he superannuated. The petitioner claims that his pay scale was incorrectly determined under ROPA 98 and should have been revised to reflect the matriculate status. The petitioner had made representation before the respondent Nos.3 and 4 in this regard, but the same had remained unanswered. Learned counsel for the State denies the allegations and submits that there are some anomalies regarding documents provided by the petitioner regarding his
employment. The petitioner has been asked to provide relevant documents, which he did not do.
At this stage learned counsel for the petitioner denies any allegations about discrepancy in the documents regarding his employment.
It appears that a representation had been made before the respondent Nos.3 and 4 regarding grant of actual pay scale from the date of joining. The same has not been considered yet.
Let the respondent No.3 consider the representation of the petitioner in this regard in accordance with law and expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. Within a week from the date of such order, the outcome shall be intimated to the petitioner.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
It is clarified that the merits of the case have not been gone into.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
