It appears to this Court that the post with the subject matter of the writ petition is that of "Agricultural Specialist" under the Department of Water Resources Investigation and Development (DWRI & D) under the Accelerated Development of Minor Irrigation Project. The post is therefore a civil post under the State. 2.

The petitioner would have to approach the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal constituted under the Administrative Tribunal Act, 1985 to seek remedies. 3.

The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
