M/L Mr. Sayan Banerjee Ms. Suparna Dutta .....For the Petitioner Ms. Sayantanee Bhattacharjee .....For the State The petitioner was a volunteer teacher with a remuneration of Rs.1,000/-. She after 13 years of such service went to take D El. Ed. training but without intimating the school. The D El. Ed. training was completed in 2022. The petitioner came back for joining the school in 2022 but the Headmistress of the school did not allow her to join the school. The petitioner was never a permanent teacher. However she made representation to the Education Minister of State of West Bengal and the concerned District Inspector of Schools for permanent appointment. As she was only a volunteer teacher, she could never have been appointed as a permanent teacher.

Therefore, I do not find any merit in this writ application and the writ application is dismissed. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.)
