After hearing learned counsel, the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction on the respondent no. 3 being the State Public Information Officer, Panihati Municipality to provide the information which was sought for by the petitioner on 9th December, 2020.

Learned counsel appearing for the State respondents submits that the second appellate authority became defunct on and from 01.07.2022.

WPA 19155 of 2022 is accordingly disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 to supply the information to the petitioner within a

period of four weeks from date of communication of this order.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
