The petitioner had earlier approached this Court alleging, inter alia, that respondent nos. 7 to 10 were plying vehicles by encroaching upon the routes allotted to the petitioner without any valid permit. By filing WPA 30401 of 2024, a Coordinate Bench of this Court, by order dated January 14, 2025, directed the Regional Transport Authority, Paschim Burdwan, to consider the grievance of the petitioner.

In compliance with the said order dated January 14, 2025, the Regional Transport Authority, Paschim Burdwan, by order dated May 14, 2025, directed all bus operators present at the hearing to operate their buses strictly in terms of

the timetable and to cover the routes mentioned in their respective permits.

By filing the present writ petition, the petitioner alleges that respondent nos. 7 to 10 are still continuing to violate the conditions of their permits.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Regional Transport Authority, Paschim Burdwan, to enquire into the allegations of the petitioner and, if any violation of permit conditions is found at the instance of respondent nos. 7 to 10, to initiate appropriate steps against them in accordance with law.

Let such exercise be completed within a period of four weeks from the date hereof.

Accordingly, the writ petition, being WPA 18799 of 2025, stands disposed of.
