Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the incident arose out of dispute between the customer and the grocery shop owner.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that, there are at least two criminal cases as against the petitioner apart from the present police complaint. He draws the attention of the Court to the injury report of the victim and the photographs of the injury suffered by the victim.

There are at least two other police cases as against the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary and his criminal antecedents, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 4086 of 2022 is dismissed.
