Mr. Rana Mukherjee, ld. APP Mr. Sabir Ahmed ... ...For the State When this matter is taken up, report dated 13.01.2021 by the Officer-in-charge of Titagarh P.S. is placed before us. It points out that during investigation information was received from the relatives of the accused that the principal accused and the victim girl are leading happy conjugal life in Bangladesh along with their children. It is also stated that the last investigating officer consulted the case with the superior officer and after obtaining permission of the superior officer, the investigating officer has submitted final report as true as the case is pending since long. It is further submitted that the case will be reopened if any clue or information of the missing victim girl is obtained in the near future. The said report is taken on record.

We do not think that any further order is called for seeking a writ in the nature of habeas corpus. We, accordingly, dispose of this writ petition without prejudice to the proceedings, if any, pending in any appropriate jurisdiction.
