Anwar Ali .....for the petitioner Mr. Himadri Sikhar Chakraborty Ms. Joyee Maity ......for the State After hearing learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the State respondents, it appears that the petitioner's request for processing the pension papers has been kept on hold since 2018. The petitioner retired in 2017.

According to the State, the petitioner did not take any steps for correction of the particulars for three years from 2018 to 2021 after which the petitioner made a representation to the State authorities. The petitioner is now willing to meet with the concerned State respondent for the required corrections.

WPA 19348 of 2022 is disposed of on the basis of the stand taken on behalf of the parties.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will meet with the respondent No. 3 being the West Bengal Building and Other Construction Workers welfare Board within a

period of two weeks from date. The petitioner shall accordingly inform the said respondent of the proposed date of the meeting and the respondent No. 3 shall make its best effort to process and disburse the petitioner's pension within six weeks from the date on which the petitioner meets the authority.
