Ms. Das, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that due to ailment of the petitioner he could not comply with the direction given on 14.11.2022 while disposing of C.R.R. 2955 of 2001.

Prayer is considered and in the given circumstances, time to deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- is peremptorily extended. Petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- within three weeks from date; failing which learned 2nd Municipal Magistrate, Kolkata, will be at liberty to send him to the correctional home for the purpose of serving out sentence. With the aforesaid direction, the application being CRAN 1 of 2023, is thus, disposed of.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the learned Trial Court, for information and necessary action.
