By this writ petition, petitioner has made a very innocuous prayer for direction upon the CIT (Appeals) - 20 concerned to consider and dispose of the pending appeal in question which has been filed on 25th April, 2022 as appears from page 36 of the writ petition for the assessment year 2016-17.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this writ petition being WPA 18836 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent CIT (Appeals) - 20 concerned to consider and dispose of the pending appeal in question filed by the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within six months from the date of communication of this order.
