Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the husband of the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by the jurisdictional Court. The petitioner and her husband are living in separate mess.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. In particular he refers to the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the mother of the victim. The mother of the victim in her statement states that the petitioner was one of the persons involved in the torture on the victim for demand of dowry.

In such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 4089 of 2022 is dismissed.
