The petitioner claims that in spite of the petitioner being threatened and had to be medically treated, no action has been taken by the Officer-inCharge, Hare Street Police Station. Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that steps have been taken and an application under Section 174 of BNSS has been submitted before the jurisdictional criminal court being the learned CMM, Calcutta.

Mr. Ganguli, learned advocate, appears on behalf of the private respondent nos.8 to 10. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has further prayed that because of act and action of

the private respondents, the petitioner and his family members are unable to enter into their original abode situated within the jurisdiction of Hemnagar Coastal Police Station.

Petitioner is granted liberty to add Hemnagar Coastal Police Station as respondent.

Petitioner will make an application to the Inspector-in-Charge, Hemnagar Coastal Police Station that he is feeling in secured for staying at his residence which is situated within the jurisdiction of the said police station. The Inspector-in-Charge of the concerned police station will keep strict vigil and would ensure that no unnecessary incidents which may result in any breach of peace and tranquility at the locale at the behest of any of the parties occur and the petitioner and/or his family members may not be disturbed while residing at their original abode.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 19533 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the learned advocate for the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report has been handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner as well as the private respondent nos.8 to 10.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
