Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities, as according to him, in spite of information sent to the police authorities, no steps have been taken.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report prepared by the Officer-in-Charge, Labpur Police Station which reflects that the land-inquestion which has been referred to in the writ petition is vested and recorded in Khatian No.01. Learned advocate for the petitioner disputes the same.

Having considered the fact that police authorities do not decide the right, title and interest of any property, petitioner would approach the appropriate authorities having jurisdiction for determination or to adjudicate such dispute. The

police authorities would only see that there is no violation of law and order.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18824 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
