Mr. Ganguly, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that a report was earlier submitted in connection with Uttarpara Police Station Case No. 450 of 2020 in CRR 2675 of 2021 wherein the complainant expressed her intention for not pursuing the present criminal case.

Mr. Mukherjee, learned Public Prosecutor appears for the State.

Having considered the order passed in CRR 2675 of 2021, I am of the opinion that the same findings/conclusion must apply to the present case. Accordingly, all further proceedings arising out of Uttarpara Police Station Case No. 450 of 2020 dated 03.12.2020 under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code corresponding to G.R.

Case No.

1869/2020 (T.R. No. 421/2021) pending before the learned

Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Serampore, Hooghly are hereby quashed.

Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 3133 of 2022 is allowed.

All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
