Heard Mr. Ayan Bhattacharya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

It is contended that pursuant to the order passed on 18th November, 2022, the petitioner made several attempts to pay a sum of Rs. 80,000/- to the complainant but failed to trace out the gentleman. The petitioner also made an attempt to deposit the said amount to the learned Trial Court, but in vain. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs. 80,000/- in the Trial Court, i.e. 13th Court, Metropolitan Magistrate, Calcutta within ten days from date in Complaint Case No. C/615 of 1998. Copy of the order be sent to learned Trial Court. Parties to act upon server copy duly downloaded. The order dated 18th November, 2022 is thus modified. The application being CRAN 1 of 2022 is thus disposed of. (Siddhartha Roy Chowdhury J.)
